Growing up in Nottingham, Cappo originally started out as a graffiti writer, but soon his love of Hip Hop culture led him to take on the challenge of MCing. Cappo is renowned for holding his own against any emcees, local or international with his hard delivery, technical flows and advanced lyricism. In the late 90's his self-produced, self-financed, 15 track demo album 'The Cap Tape Volume One', led to a number of official releases on UK-based label SON Records and in 2003 Cappo unveiled his magnum opus, the incredible 'Spaz The World' album on Zebra Traffic. An underground legend and one of the UK's most respected Hip Hop artists, Cappo has collaborated with The Herbaliser, Mad Doctor X, The P Brothers, Endemic, Konny Kon and Jehst among others. Cappo's Jehst-produced banger 'The Jewel Man' appeared on the YNR compilation album 'Feeding Time at the Zoo' in 2009, marking his debut on the label. The latest feather in his cap is the highly-anticipated follow-up to 'Spaz The World', the incredible 'Genghis' album released in 2010 on Son Records. Sleep at your peril!
